We introduce new Dojo members to everyone and welcome them into our family. Instructors and members teach how to bow when the student steps onto or leaves the practice mat. A normal class routine is as follows:
Meditation at the beginning of the class. This is to prepare and focus our mind for the hard and serious practice for the day.
Warm up exercises and stretching to improve flexibility and avoid any injuries.
Kaicho Watanabe and Sr. Instructors lead the class.
Practice ends with a bow to the members and the Instructors.
Meditation at the end of the class.
Bow off the mat and as you exist the dojo.
What do you need? We ask you to come in your Gi (Karate uniform) and bring a water bottle to stay hydrated.
